Watercolor paint is a very forgiving medium when used with a dipping pen. I’m using Sakura’s Koi field travel kit. Add only a small amount of water so it isn’t too runny.

Try loading your dipping pen reservoir with a second color using a paintbrush, before the first color has entirely run out. The colors will blend together and then meld into the second color, which is a very pretty effect.
