I handpainted this wooden box to hold my calligraphy nibs.
How to:

I used a white Stabilo All pencil to sketch out my design. These pencils are super cool because the marks erase easily with water, but won’t smear otherwise. They’re perfect for writing on glossy surfaces.

I used One Shot enamel paint and tiny brushes for this project. This time I started with the black background shadow.

Fill in the letters. Allow to dry, then add highlights with white paint.

Wipe down any visible Stabilo pencil marks with a damp rag.

Clean up your brushes with turpenoid.
