Kara & Dan

A handpainted name plaque makes a thoughtful gift.

How to:

1
I found these lidless wooden boxes for .50 each at a craft store. They’re nice to use for name plaques because they can stand freely on a desk.

2
I started by painting the background with black 1-Shot paint.

3
I sketched my design with a Stabilo All pencil.

4
I used liner paint brushes to paint my design. I added a bit of black to the main colors and used that for the shaded areas of the letters.
