Sketch out your design with a pencil and ruler on white cardstock. I chose lyrics from one of my favorite bands, Counting Crows.

Trace with a Micron pen. For this one I used a size 01 and 08.

Erase the pencil marks with a large eraser.

You can scan your image at a high resolution. Set the image mode to black and white. Then increase the contrast for a sharper image.

I added color in Photoshop.
