Hot Rock Art

This is a fun art project to do on a camp out!

How to:
made with
rocks
campfire

1
Find some rocks and place in them in the coals of the campfire.

2
While they heat up, unwrap the crayons.

3
Take out the rocks (make sure they’re not too hot for the kids to touch) and color on them with the crayons.  The crayons will melt and create pretty swirled patterns.

4
Add googly eyes and you have your own rock buddy!
