Fishbowl Lettering

A little fishbowl fun!

How to:

1
Handlettering on a glass surface has both benefits and drawbacks. On the one hand, you can easily sketch out your design on paper, then tape it to the interior of the glass and trace. On the other, there can be refraction and shadows, making it difficult to tell if you’re tracing directly over the letters. I found it easiest to just trace the outline of my letters, then remove my paper template to fill out my design.

2
I used Sakura’s Pentouch markers for this. If you make a mistake, you can remove the dried ink with mineral spirits and a Q-tip.

While the ink is water resistant, it will come off with hard scrubbing, and isn’t intended for dishes.
