Pikachu Cake

My daughter loves Pokemon, so of course she requested a Pikachu cake for her birthday

How to:
made with
cake, baked in (2) 8 inch rounds
frosting

1
My daughter helped me make the frosting for this. Save out a small amount of white frosting for the eyes, and tint the rest with yellow food coloring.
2
Make the ears by cutting one of the rounds into two petal shapes. There will small wedges of cake left over, you can discard that or make a few cake pops if you’re feeling ambitious.
3
Cover the back of a cookie sheet or a piece of cardboard with aluminum foil. Place the ear pieces by the uncut cake round. Frost with the yellow icing.
5
Use the frosting in the decorator tubes to draw Pikachu’s face. Add the white frosting you saved to his eyes. Don’t forget to add the black tips to the ears.

It’s made from two standard round 8 inch cake pans. One is the head, and you cut the ears from the other.

  3. You are a really nice person, thanks a thousand times!
