This was a custom piece. I wanted to maintain a natural vibe, so I added a woodcut grain to the letters.

I sketched the design in pencil, then traced it in pen on a piece of tracing paper. I like to do this when I know a piece will be vectorized, because it makes it easier to change my original design if the client wants to tweak it.

I pulled it into Illustrator and vectorized it, then colored it in Photoshop.
