This no-sew, washable onesie makes a very special baby shower gift!
Supplies:
- Double-sided fusible webbing (Wonder Under)
- Cotton onesies
- Cotton fabric
- Buttons, if desired
- Thread
- Die cut, or computer print out of image
- Iron
How To:
Begin by die cutting an image. I used my local scrapbook store’s free die cutting machineto make two elephants and an airplane. Your other option is finding an image online that you’d like to copy.
Next cut out enough fabric for your image. Iron the fabric thoroughly. (Iron the tee shirt too while you’re at it.) Then lay the fabric on your fusible webbing and iron on until completely attached. Flip over the webbing and trace around your print-out with a pencil. (If you are doing words, be sure to trace backwards, as the image will be reversed).
Cut out the image, and iron on to the shirt. Iron on any embellishments (like ears or clouds). If desired, you can add buttons for eyes. This project is machine washable and you can even throw it in the dryer!

is it diy or dye cut?
There are several ways to do this project. You can 1) use a die cut machine 2) print a picture from your computer to use as a template, or 3) free hand an image.
For this particular project, I used die cuts for the airplane and elephants, and then free handed the clouds.
