These fun & funky hair clips add a fashionable finishing touch to an outfit.
Supplies:
- Fabric
- Tulle or netting
- Buttons
- Thread
- Hot glue gun
- Felt
- Chipboard flower (to trace)
- Hair clips
How To:
Trace the chipboard flower onto the felt, fabric, and tulle. Fold over and cut several of each at a time. Layer the different materials. In the middle, do a layer of felt– fold two felt flower in half. Put one on the left, and one on the right. (This will give your flower dimension and help it pop up more). Layer the remaining flowers on top.
Fold the stack of flowers in half, and make three horizontal stitches. Pull tight and knot off. Fold in half the other way and add three more stitches. This will bunch your flowers in the middle to add dimension.
Sew a button in the middle, then loosely stitch under and around your button in a circle. Pull tightly and knot to bunch the flower. Hot glue the flower to your hair clip.
