If you have a window nook or a bay window, make practical use of the space by creating a built-in desk.
Supplies:
- Wood
- Paint
- Table legs
- Moulding trim
- Screws
- Finishing nails
How To:
Select a smooth wood or a pressed composite. Measure and cut to size using a circular saw. Paint. Add 2-inch wood railings along the wall for reinforcement, for the desk top to rest on. Add table top and screw into the wood railings, as close to the edge as possible.
Cut the table legs to size. Paint. Add to front of table. Use a miter saw to cut trim and molding. Paint, and add to table using finishing nails.
