Have 5 minutes? Decorate your home for any holiday with the Festive 5-Minute Garland!
Supplies:
- Wired ribbon
- Paper decorations (doilies, snowflakes, shamrocks, etc.)
- Sewing machine
- Scotch tape
How To:
Starting about 8 inches in from the end of your wired ribbon, sew the paper decorations to the center of the ribbon using a zig-zag stitch. There’s no need to pin, just line the next one up as you sew.
Hang across a mirror or fireplace. You can bend the wire ribbon to make it more 3-dimensional. I cut V’s into the ends of my ribbon. Attach using scotch tape beneath the paper decorations.
PS: Did you know you can write or draw on a mirror or window using regular acrylic craft paint? It will come off if you scrub it gently with a paper towel.
