I prettied up an old VHS cam-corder bag so it can enjoy a new life as my DSLR tote. And yes, it matches my handbag. I’m crazy like that.
Supplies:
- Padded nylon canvas bag
- Ribbon
- Acrylic paint & paintbrush
- Stamp
- Sewing machine & thread
How To:
If your bag is made of nylon or canvas, it will absorb acrylic paint well, and it won’t wash off. Use a fine paint brush to decorate your bag. Mine was all black with maroon trim, so I added my favorite color combo of cherry red and aqua.
I used a rubber stamp to add the Made By Marzipan logo. I added a gingham ribbon ruffle to the front and to the strap.
I also made a red luggage tag for the handle, but I forgot to put it on for the pics. Use your imagination :)
