Deck the halls with our Santa’s Letterbox Mini Album Kit!  Add a little Christmas magic with this new family tradition: have each child write a letter to Santa, roll it up, and tie it with a ribbon.  As they go to bed, tell them to listen for the jingle bells that mean Santa’s reading their letters.  They’ll soon hear “Santa,” and in the morning will find the ribbons on their letters untied!

Supplies:

  • Letterbox
  • Ribbon
  • 2 sheets striped cardstock
  • Green cardstock
  • Cranberry cardstock
  • Letter sticker sheet
  • Rustic bells

How To:

Cover the outside of the box with striped paper.  Add a green rectangle to the center.  Use letter stickers to spell out “letters to santa.”  Use stickers to embellish front panel.  Cover back panel and sides of interior with cranberry cardstock.  Loop the ribbon through holes in the back panel.  Use another segment of ribbon to tie a knot bow in the middle.

My friend does something similar to this. They call it Santa’s mailbox and the kids write letters to Santa’s helper elves and the elves write back.
