Do you have a little fabric leftover from making a baby blanket? Make a matching bib in no time! Free printable template at bottom.
- Flannel for front, 8.5×11 in
- Flannel or other soft fabric for back, 8.5×11
- Free template Easy Breezy Bib Template
- Sewing machine & straight pins
Print off and cut out the baby bib template. Put a piece of flannel face-down and lay the template on top. Trace with a pencil or marking pen.
Lay that piece of flannel on top of the other piece, right-sides together. Pin fabrics together inside the pencil markings. Cut out fabrics.
Unpin fabrics. Sew a piece of Velcro on top of the left neck tab on one piece of flannel. Then repeat on the OTHER piece of fabric, sewing the coordinating Velcro piece onto the left neck tab.
Re-pin fabrics, right sides together. Sew around perimeter, leaving a 2-inch hole for turning inside out. Turn bib right side out, using the eraser end of a pencil to poke out seams. Stitch hole closed. Top stitch around the perimeter of the bib.
Note: I know the neck hole looks tiny, but the baby in this photos is 16 months old– it won’t be too small!
